What is grit?

Grit is the combination of focus (staying interested in a goal over time) and perseverance (pushing through setbacks and sticking with effort).

How the Grit Scale works

You’ll answer 12 items on a 1–5 scale (1 = Not at all like me, 5 = Very much like me). Your overall grit score and each subscale score are simple averages of your responses.

Consistency of Interests (Focus)

How steadily you stick with priorities over time. Higher scores indicate more consistent focus.

Perseverance of Effort (Follow-through)

How you push through setbacks and keep going. Higher scores indicate stronger follow-through.

Tip: There are no right or wrong answers — respond based on your typical behavior, not your best week.

2.50-3.49

Stay on one priority

Try: Pick one Quarterly Focus, say no to misaligned work, review progress weekly.
Push through setbacks
Persistence when it gets hard.
Try: Use 'If-Then' plans for obstacles and track streaks, not perfection.
Build long-term routines
